Dear Readers:

I am a writer and photojournalist currently writing about ongoing relations
between Japan, China, Taiwan and other Asian economies. I am particularly
interested in the effects China's recent sabre-rattling will have on security
and economic relations between Asian nations and the West.

Was Japan looking forward to creating an Asian bloc, and is it reevaluating
its stance towards the US in light of recent Chinese hostility in the region?

I look forward to any information, thoughts, or leads you may provide.
