The Civil Responsibility Explosion:
An International Comparison of Contractual and Tort Practices

Tokyo, March 26-27, 1996
Hama Rikyu Asahi Hall, Tsukiji 5-3-2, Chuo-ku

Leading legal scholars from Japan, the U.S., and Canada will present their
latest research in the fields of tort and contract law. Among the topics
to be addressed are developments in products liability, informed consent in
health care, long-term contracting practices, and corresponding changes in
legal consciousness and doctrine.

The conference is sponsored by the 21st Century Law & Policy Research
Association. It is funded by the Japan Foundation Center for Global
Partnership and Shoji Homu Kenkyukai (Commercial Law Centre Inc.).
