The Church of England Record Society was founded in 1991 with the object of pomoting interest in and knowledge of the history of the Church of England from the sixteenth century onwards. The Society aims to do this by publishing primary material of significance for the history of the Church of England, whether in the form of letters, diaries, specula, visitation articles or other documents.
The Society aims to produce one volume every year.
The Society welcomes new members. Subscriptions become due on 1 January each year. The rates are currently UKL15 for private individuals, UKL10 for full-time students and UKL25 for institutions. Each member receives the Society's publications at no extra cost. The Society's volumes retail in bookshops at UKL29.50
