A network is to be established to act as an information gathering service and to provide an annual list of researchers in the field. If there is sufficient interest, an annual seminar and newsletter may ensue. The purpose is to be interdisciplinary. Papers on medieval hospitals are also solicited for a session at the International Medieval Conference at Leeds in July 1996.
