Regarding Edwardian Children's Lit--I've used Kirsten Drotner's "English
Children and Their Magazines 1751-1945" with good success. Drotner has a
very good bibliography that has led me to many other sources. Mary Cadogan
and Patricia Craig's "You're a Brick , Angela" is especially good in its
treatment of fiction written for girls.
