The conference committee is pleased to announce that the hypertext versions
of the papers for the upcoming "Cultural Frictions: Medieval Studies in
Postmodern Contexts" conference are now available. We invite you to read
and comment upon them.
Of the 12 papers to be presented at the conference, seven
are now available for your perusal at:
http://www.georgetown.edu/labyrinth/conf/cs95/papers/
The papers cover a variety of medieval texts, and give a good indication
of the numerous methodologies clustered under "cultural studies."
There is also an interactive comment form which will allow you to post
your comments about these papers; the final session of the conference is
dedicated to discussing these accumlated Net comments. Never before has
it been possible for you to participate in a medieval studies conference
simply by sitting at your computer; please help us to make it a success
by looking at the essays and passing along your thoughts.
Happy reading -- there are some wonderful essays.
