A few years ago, Lorraine Attreed and Jim Powers did a presentation at the
AHA, entitled "Lessons in the Dark: Teaching the Middle Ages with Film,"
[title is an approximation]. I did a writeup on it for the _Ricardian
Register_ with Attreed's permission. I will contact her this week and see if
she would object to my sharing it with H-ALBION, as it speaks to the very
issues you raise.
