Hello all, I'm developing a class on eighteenth-century Britain and turn
to your collective wisdom for help. It will be a one-quarter (ten-week)
class, a continuation of the 2 quarter Tudor-Stuart survey. Although
that class now goes to 1715, I would like to start in 1689. My real
question is, where do I end? 1789? 1815? 1832? The modern Britain
sequence basically starts with Victoria. Any suggestions for texts also
welcome. This would be an upper-division class, enrollment probably
around 70. I would like this to be a class on Britain and not just
England, so suggestions about integrating Scottish and Irish topics are
especially welcome.

My apologies to those who receive this message twice.

Thanks,
