Our irix system has recently been upgraded to v 5.3, which has induced some
problems, one of which is the elm mailer firing blank messages. This is a
temporary problem, but, as a precaution, I have not sent out any messages over
the weekend (the problem is worst during unstaffed times at the Computer Centre
here). I am now endeavouring to distribute unposted mail. I apologise for this
temporary problem.
