I am an American intellectual historian who is especially
interested in the history of education. My current research
project is a study of the so-called open classroom movement in
American schools and its connection to the integrated day in
British infant schools in the 1960s and later. I am planning to
visit England in May and I would very much like to meet with
English historians of education to talk about this topic. I
would, therefore, appreciate hearing from anyone who might be
interested in meeting with me. I do not subscribe to H-ALBION
and I ask, therefore, that if you are interested to reply to me
