Thanks Nancy - these look like two good sources I hadn't considered yet. I
am especially interested in the Drotner book, since it might provide the
kind of contrast I am looking for between the great 'classics' we associate
with the period and the more wide-spread (I think) fare that was really
indicative of the period.
