Actually, there is a wealth of material out there on Ulster,
the TAIN, and archaeology. Some places to start would be:

Raftery, Barry.
Pagan Celtic Ireland : the enigma of the Irish Iron Age / Barry
Raftery.
London : Thames and Hudson, c1994.

Mallory, J. P.
The archaeology of Ulster from colonization to plantation / by
J.P. Mallory and T.E. McNeill ; illustrations under the ...
[Belfast] : Institute of Irish Studies, Queen's University of
Belfast, 1991.

Aspects of the Tain / J.P. Mallory, editor.
Belfast : December Publications, c1992.
Mallory, J. P.

Jackson, Kenneth Hurlstone, 1909-
The oldest Irish tradition; a window on the iron age.
Cambridge [Eng.] University Press, 1964.
Rede lecture ; 1964.

Depending on what you are exactly looking for, I can provide more
info.
