Thanks for sending the reference to Mark Houlahan. Did he complete the
thesis at the University of Toronto? I would also appreciate it very
much if you could tell me when it was completed. To what extent (other than
periodization) does it differ from the arguments
of K. Firth's The Apocalyptic Tradition and P. Christianson's Reformers and
