History/Political Science: Instructor. Highland Community
College is accepting applications for a full-time
history/political science instructor. Qualifications: Ability
to relate to community college students. Competent to instruct
traditional first and second level history and political
science college courses. Master's degree required. Interested

History: Full-time, tenure track for Fall 1995. Teach U.S.
surveys, World History, and one or more of the following:
European, Slavic, Latin American, and/or Asian specialties.
Ph.D. in hand, rank/salary dependent upon

Institution: Valencia CC
Location: Florida
Valencia Community College, a multi-campus public two-year
comprehensive community college, invites applications for
faculty positions for the 1995-96 academic year. Valencia has
an enrollment of nearly 60,000 credit and non- credit
students, and an operating budget of $51 million with total
expenditures of $80 million.
The successful candidates for these positions must be
committed to the mission of the community college, including
an open-door, comprehensive postsecondary education with
opportunities for individual growth, professional development
and academic achievement.
Due to Valencia's continued growth, full-time, 10-month,
tenure-earning positions are available in the following areas
of study
* History
All positions require a master's degree with 18 graduate hours
in the teaching discipline. At the time of application,
