Island of Goree

>From approximately 1800-1815, England held the island of Goree off the coast
of Senegal. At the same time they held James Fort and other spots on the
Gambia River just south of Goree and Saint Louis to the north. Can any of
you suggest archives, record groups in the PRO, secondary works or bibliogra-
phies that deal with Goree during those years? Help would be much appreciated.
