Regarding the image or idea of Africa in 16th century England, do you
know about Eldred D. Jones, THE ELIZABETHIAN IMAGE OF AFRICA, Folger
Shakespeare Library, 1971? While a slim work (52 pp.) it is quite
interesting and informative.
