British Courts Martial WWII

Dear Legal Scholars:

Please forgive my ignorance of even the correct terms to use to
frame this question.

I am interested in a Royal Navy officer who was apparently
court-martialled (American terminology -- is British the same?) at the
close of WWII. Does anyone know how/whether I can get at records of that
proceeding? I have his name and a probable year of the proceeding, but
nothing else.
