The Department of History, Ohio State University will award two DISSERTATION
FELLOWSHIPS to American minority group members in ANY FIELD OF HISTORY.
ABDs in fields other than American history are particularly encouraged. The
stipend is $25,000 and carries a stipulation that the recipient teach one
course during the academic year. Candidates should send a letter of
application, a vita, a writing sample connected to the dissertation, and three
letters of recommendation to Professor Warren Van Tine, Department of History,
Ohio State University, 230 West 17th Avenue, Columbus Ohio 43210, by MARCH 15.
