IMPERIAL WAR MUSEUM READING ROOM
--------------------------------
I suggest you spend some time in the Reading Room of the Imperial War Museum in
London. Their collection contains regimental histories of all the British and
Irish regiments that fought in the Great War, plus other primary and secondary
source materials.

LYN MACDONALD
-------------
I also suggest you contact Lyn MacDonald through her publisher. Lyn is the
author of a fine series of books on the Great War whose main strength is her
extremely extensive series of interviews with hundreds and hundreds of Great War
veterans, including those in the Ulster and other Irish regiments. Not only are
her books good sources (particularly SOMME and VOICES AND IMAGES OF THE GREAT
WAR for the period you're interested in), but I suspect she probably has reams
and reams of interview material she hasn't used in her books which she may be
able to make available to you.
