Can someone out there able to answer the following query from a
colleague without access to Internet:

'I want to know which Royal Field Artillery battery the poet Robert
Nichols served with in France in 1915: the *Army List*, which gives the
battalions of infantry officers, doesn't give similar details for
artillery officers, and if I knew which unit Nichols was in I could look
up the Unit War Diary in the PRO . . .'

I will be off the list myself after Saturday the 24th for a few weeks so
could anyone with information post it to me privately and I'll get back
to you mid-July. Many thanks.
