This non selective bibliography was first published in electronic
format in 1987 and has now been updated and republished in book
form to make it more easily accessible to a wider body of
students and researchers. It brings together approximately 12000
citations on Underwater Archaeology compiled from the periodical
notes in the International Journal of Nautical Archaeology, and
from other references, footnotes and bibliographies relating to
Underwater Archaeology and associated Historical and
Archaeological disciplines. Citations are subdivided into broad
