person I know to contact regarding English music hall songs is the historian of
the British Music Hall Society, Max Tyler. I am currently writing a book
on Charlie Chaplin's relationship with the "halls", and will be leaving
for England in a couple weeks to do more research on the subject. I
would be glad to contact Max for information about specific songs or
artists. I would also be interested in hearing what you and other people
are doing with this subject.
