Over the past few months many messages have appeared on MEDIEV-L on the topic
of an on-line supplement to the available introductory texts on the middle
ages. If you have been following the discussion, you know that the editorial
team is currently being put into place.
As my part of this project, I will be cataloguing the on-line images which
can illustrate and enrich this project. Please e-mail me with URLs of sites
you consider particularly useful or helpful. Additionally, if there are
specific images you feel _should_ be on-line for this project, I'd appreciate
an e-mail to that effect, as well, and we'll see what we can do about
scanning the images and obtaining the necessary permissions.
To avoid cluttering the list, please e-mail me privately; to help cast as
wide a net as possible, I would appreciate it if MEDIEV-L subscribers would
forward this to other relevant lists.
I will post a distillation of the URLs periodically so that others can enjoy
the sites while the electronic textbook supplement project is still under
construction.
