Given the peculiar American resistence to gun control, I'm curious if anyone
knows what proscriptions were placed on weapons in Britain. Were certain kinds
of weapons restricted to certain classes? Was a crime committed with a gun
considered more serious historically? Any scholarly refererences would be
appreciated.
