The Eighteenth-Century Ireland Society welcomes members anywhere in the
world with an interest in the life, letters, history and culture (Gaelic
and English), of eighteenth-century Ireland. The Society publishes an
annual journal, Eighteenth-Century Ireland, and holds regular conferences.
It is affiliated to the International Society for Eighteenth-Century
Studies and is bidding to be the host society for the 1999 International
Congress.
