H-Net is conducting an evaluation of all its lists, both as
part of our annual review process and as preparation for a
grant proposal to NEH. We need to find out how well this
list serves the needs of the scholarly community. Please
send your report to Jim Mott (jimmott@spss.com) , the member of the
H-Net Committee who has been assigned to prepare the report. (The
Executive Committee, which sets H-Net policy, was elected by
all the moderators.) Your name will be removed before your
comments are given to the moderators or NEH. We welcome
details!
We are particularly interested in finding out how you use this
list? In what ways has it helped your teaching? What are its
strongest and weakest features? What new features would you like to
see in 1995? Have you ever posted to it? How does it compare with
other email lists? How effective have the moderators been?
::::It would be helpful if you could also provide a little information
about your accademic affiliation, teaching, and publication experience.)
