EUROPEAN-SOCIOLOGIST

. . . a discussion list set up on Mailbase at Newcastle University,
United Kingdom by the European Sociological Association (ESA) for
those working either in or on Europe.

The list has been set up for three basic purposes:
as a means for informing members and other interested parties about the
activities of the various bodies of the European Sociological Association;
as a forum for the discussion of sociological issues of relevance to Europe,
either those on European topics or issues that are of interest to social
scientists working in Europe;
as a general sociological bulletin board for the placement of
announcements, job advertisements, calls for research initiatives etc. for
circulation across the continent.

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in any of these areas and
can be joined automatically by sending the following message
to mailbase@mailbase.ac.uk
