MIDWEST CONFERENCE ON BRITISH STUDIES
ANNUAL MEETING NOVEMBER 3-4, 1995
UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN, ANN ARBOR

CALL FOR PAPERS

The Midwest Conference on British Studies seeks participation by scholars
in all areas of British history and culture, including advanced graduate
students. Panelists are encouraged to become members of the NACBS.
Proposals may consist of individual papers or entire sessions on a common
theme. Most sessions will include three papers (each lasting twenty
minutes), a chair and a commentator. Proposals for roundtable
discussions are welcome. A proposal should include a 200-word abstract
for each paper and one-page curriculum vitae for each participant,
including chairs and commentators. The Program Committee will find
suitable chairs and commentators for proposed sessions without them.
