The library of the School of Law of Columbia University will be closed
for extensive renovation during the summer. The library will be closed from
May 20 to August 1, 1995. Most of the third (main) floor, about half of the
second floor, and portions of the basement will be closed off during the
renovation. A small portion of the library's collection will be place in
non-retrievable storage for the academic year 95/96.
If you were planning to use the Columbia Law Library this summer, make
other plans. If you were planning to visit the library for research material
during the academic year 95/96, call ahead for updated information on the
status of the building and the collections.
