Columbia Law School has announced that Professor Stroud F. C.
Milsom, of Cambridge University, England, will deliver the Carpentier
Lectures on March 28th, 29th and 30th, 1995. The lectures, titled "A New
Essay in Historical Jurisprudence," will begin at 5 p.m. each day, and
will be held in Room B, Columbia Law School, 435 W. 116th Street, New
