Yes Charles, there is a Santa Claus. The ESTC has been put on CD-ROM.
The interface is excellent. You can qualify your searches in a
variety of ways: author, date, place of publication, country of publication,
etc. You can even limit your search to microform editions, a useful
option in these days of inter-library loan. It saves a lot of time.
I do not know if it is available on-line. Good luck.
