Manchester Computer Centre is now in a position to provide the
new release of the Ordnance Survey sample data. This includes
the new Folkestone tile (see availability list below).
The data is currently available in DXF/NTF format on 1 x Exabyte
(Media code 13 - cost #13.00). The data is generic and should be able
to be read on any workstation. The data was read and then written
on a SUN workstation using the command 'tar cvf/dev/rst8'.
Also provided with the data is a set of manuals for the data ordered.
Another single manual containing lists of the files will also be enclosed.
To cover the cost of postage for this material, an additional charge
will be added to the cost of media, as follows:
Parcel Force (5 working days delivery) All manuals and tapes #8.00 plus VAT
To receive your update, please send a purchase order (addressed to
Manchester Computer Centre) to cover the full cost of media/postage
to CHEST with a completed OS Order Form (see below). Updates will not
