Having just returned from a few weeks at Chancery Lane I can inform you
that the PRO will be open this summer, that they will begin the move in
the autumn, with scheduled completion (??) Jan. 1997, that already
services at Chancery Lane are somewhat disrupted by the preparations for
the move, and that in my opinion any attempt to work with Chancery Lane
materials between Nov. 1995 and June 1997 will be fraught with
difficulties, though the official line that anything being moved will
only be unavailable for the three weeks such move requires.
