I am working on a project concerning working women's health and labor in
England c.1834-1854. My research query is as follows: has anyone come
across hospital/medical patient case records in industrial areas, i.e. in
areas where women worked in predominantly factory employment? I would also
appreciate any information concerning infirmaries attached to factories
or records from workhouse infirmaries. Any suggestions regarding
resources on working women's health in the early Victorian period would
be welcome.
