University of Wales Press is the major publisher for Welsh material. For
more commercial presses for English (and some Celtic) material, there are
Longman's, MacMillan, Boydell& Brewer and Routledge. University of Leicester
Press publishes a lot in urban history. And harking back to Scottish material,
Polygon (owned by Edinburgh UP but semi-independent) publishes some very
interesting Scottish material, although much of it is quite contemporary.
For Irish material, Four Courts Press has become very active recently.
