Manchester and Longmans come most readily to mind. Was it only
monographs you had in mind? There are scads of university presses
publishing works in British history in the US, many less #'s in Irish,
Scots or Welsh history. Does anyone know of the Welsh publishers? Some
of each are carried of course in OUP and Cambridge but Wales really gets
short shrift. Irish is well served in very active Irish publishers in
Ireland and here at Catholic U Press and Syracuse and to some extent St.
Martin's.
