The USIA, the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and the
Institute of International Education announce the opening of the
1995-96 competition for grants for graduate study or research
abroad in academic fields. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and
must have sufficient proficiency in the language of the host
country. Full grants provide round-trip international travel,
maintenance for the duration of the grant, a research allowance,
and tuition waivers, if applicable. All grants include health
and accident insurance. Students currently enrolled in a college
or university should contact their on-campus Fulbright Program
Advisor for brochures, forms and more information. At-large
applicants should contact the U.S. Student Programs Division at
