The British Agricultural History Society and the Hampshire Record Office
will hold a joint conference on Rural History and the Landscape in
Medieval Hampshire at the Hampshire Record Office, Sussex Street,
Winchester, England on Saturday 28th October 1995 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The speakers will be:

Mark Page - Customary Payments on the Winchester Estates 1275-1325

Jan Titow - Labour Problems and Policies on the Winchester Estates,1208-1475

Carenza Lewis - The Rural Settlement of the Wessex Chalkland landscapes,
400-1500

John Hare - Continuity and Change in Chalkland Agriculture 1250-1500
