The _Brideshead Revisited_ series is available on videotape; I think
(although I'm not sure) that part of _Tom and Viv_ takes place during
that time period; Orwell's _Road to Wigan Pier_ is available on video-
tape although I haven't seen it so I don't know what it's like. I pulled
these citations out of the Stanford film library:
