OK, Sharon, point taken. Maybe just a wee bit harsh on you editors.
No, I think, on the whole, better to have the information than worry
about the dubious nature of someone else's ignorance of our past and
present status. Maybe the answer lies in the email equivalent of an
Amnesty international letter writing blitz? In a situation like
this, those of us could object directly to the perpetrator of
erroneous information, and encourage others to do the same, so that
they'd get fed up with email and change it, if only just for a quiet
life. :-)
In the meantime, keep up the good work, Sharon and co-editors.
