One of my colleagues, Shigeru Akita, currently a visiting scholar at
SOAS, London University, is planning to go to South Africa this
coming July. He is Associate Professor of British empire history and
his main interest in the relationship among Great Britain, South
Africa, and Asia (China, Japan). He knows nobody in South Africa.
If you know anybody who might give him any information about doing
research in South Africa, please let me know. Thank you.
