A colleague of mine who is overwhelmed by a heavy teaching load (six
classes this term) wants to revise her dissertation on Marcus Garvey
for publication; she has not been able to keep up with the secondary
literature for about two years; anyone who would be kind enough to
suggest things she should read, both about Garvey and black politics/
ideology, nationalism etc., please send the suggestions to my e-mail

It is my understanding that three

concerning Africa will be published
in late summer or early fall by
University of California Press.
