I am compiling a bibliography on "contemporary ethnopolitics in sub-Saharan
Africa" for a new course aimed at 4th year undergraduates and Masters level
students. Although the focus will be contemporary issues (i.e., within the
last 10 years or so), obviously, it is important for students to read about
the historical antecedants to problems that have manifested themselves in
places such as Rwanda, Liberia, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Nigeria and so
on.
I would be grateful for any suggestions subscribers might have - in books,
journals (& videos) - to add to the bibliographic references I already
have. Many thanks.
