SWAHILI - L (internet)

The African Studies Outreach Program of the University of Wisconsin
created this service at the request of post-secondary teachers of
Swahili and returned Peace Corps Volunteers in July, 1992. This
distribution list promotes Swahili literacy and allows for an
exchange of ideas on various topics written in Swahili. Because of
this goal of Swahili-L, messages written in any other language are
not accepted. Over 200 persons from around the world currently have a
subscription.

Persons interested in communicating in SWAHILI are welcome to subscribe
(free)to the African Studies Outreach Program conversation board -
Swahili-L.
