AT&T'S FIBER OPTIC PLAN FOR AFRICA
AT&T is looking for investors to fund its "Africa One" plan to
encircle Africa with a fiber optic backbone that would have landing
points in 41 African countries in addition to Italy and Saudi Arabia,
to close the communications gap between Africa and the rest of the
world.
