I am planning to organize a set of panels on Lusophone Africa
for the 1996 conference of the Canadian Association of African
Studies, which will be held in Montreal during 1-5 May, 1996.
As of now, it looks like we can have 2-3 panels on Angola, 2-3
on Mozambique, 1 on Guinea-Bissau, and 1 on Sao Tome & Cape
Verde. These will be interdisciplinary and multilingual (English,
French, and Portuguese) panels.
For those of you interested in participating in these panels
please email by placing CAAS and your AREA (ie: Angola, Mozambique,
etc) in your subject heading.
