In Nancy Cunard's Negro Anthology (1935), George Padmore has an article in
which he discusses briefly Ethio-Japanese relationsh. The article is titled
"Ethiopia Today". In New World A-Coming (Arno Press, 1968), Roi Ottley has a
chapter in which he describes the triangular wartime interaction between
Ethiopia and a certain group of African-American and Japanese pro-Ethiopian
activists. In the 1990 ASA conference at Baltimore, Ethio-Japanese relations
were discussed by Tetsushi Frukawa and Richard Bradshaw. According to
Tetsushi's presentation, the Italo-Ethiopian crisis was extensively discussed
by the Japanese media. Du Bois also had an article in the 1935 Foreign Affairs
Quarterly in which he compared Italy's invsion of Ethiopia to Japanese
invasion of China.
