The Archives of the Billy Graham Center contain many collections
with documents relating to African Christianity. Most of these
concern the work of North American missionaries or evangelists in
Africa, though there is a substantial amount of material documenting
the activities and beliefs of African churches, leaders, and
parachurch organizations. Most of the records are twentieth century
and about seventy-five percent are concerned with east or central
Africa, although there is material from all parts of the continent.
Anyone who would like a list of brief descriptions of collections with
Africa material should send an e-mail message to:
bgcarc@david.wheaton.edu
(NOT to the return address of this announcement). NOTE: Although the
descriptions are brief, the list itself is very long.
Anyone who would like to receive the Archives' newsletter *Witness*
may do so at no charge. Simple send us a message through e-mail or
regular mail giving us your name and address and indicating whether
you would like the e-mail or hard copy version of the publication.
