Barry raises a good point. I nearly got roasted for not introducing my
phd thesis with a background on language etc of Uganda - and this by an
examiner who had spend the best part of her life in Uganda (40 years plus)
I wasn't amused, tried to resist, but had to give in otherwise she wouldn't
budge. We may need more than a discussion on the H-Africa net to change
attitudes.
