Township Tonight!*, and for furthering the case in your comment for
the serious historical value of popular representations of various
kinds. You may find my very new book from Chicago UP, *In the Time of
Cannibals*, also of interest since it concerns the popular texts
composed and performed by African migrant mineworkers in South
Africa/Lesotho.
